Located at 211 East Main Street, Ventura, California 93001, the San Buenaventura Mission is a great place to take a day trip. The San Buenaventura Mission has a gift shop and a museum that is open everyday except on major holidays. Through the week the hours are 10am until 5pm. Saturday hours are 9am until 5pm. On Sundays you can visit the gift shop and museum from 10am until 4pm.
Be sure to visit the gift shop while you are here to see all the Catholic devotional gifts available for you to purchase. They also have many different items that relate to the history of the San Buenaventura Mission and other California Missions as well.

If you would like to attend Mass while in Ventura, the San Buenaventura Mission holds a Saturday Vigil at 5:30pm with a 7:30 Vigil in Spanish. On Sundays the schedule is 7:30am, 9:00am, 10:00am (Spanish-in the new parish building behind the Mission), 12:00pm, and a traditional Latin Mass at 1:30pm. Through the week you can go at 7:30am each day.
