The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum
Located in San Diego, California, the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is packed full of vintage aircraft, memorabilia, and other artifacts that date back to the beginning of the Marine Corps Aviation days. You will see many things that are one of a kind in this museum.
After you visit the museum’s outdoor area that usually has about 25 aircraft on display and the indoor display and exhibit area, you can go to the museum store and buy yourself a souvenir that will always remind you of your trip here. They have hats, apparel, books and other great gifts.
The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is located at T-4203 Anderson Avenue, San Diego, California 92145-0316. It’s right across the street from 8604 Miramar Road. It’s only 1.3 miles from Interstate 15 and just under 4 miles from Interstate 805. They have an American and Marine Corps flag on their fence.
You can visit this awesome museum anytime from 9am to 3:30pm except on Mondays. Many people who visit, choose to support the museum with a donation.
