Newport Landing Whale Watching
Whale watching tours are available all year long at Newport Beach. The Newport Landing is the place to be from December though April because the Grey whales migrate right past Newport Harbor. Blue whales are seen more when the water is warmer in the summer months.

Private tours for whale watching are available. You can charter a boat and take a short cruise for a small number of people or a whole organization. There are public tours available as well, normally three depart the harbor each day.
