There are 3 places to camp inside the state park. Two of them are along the Moro Ridge and are close to the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. They are the Upper Moro Campground and the Lower Moro Campground. There is also the Deer Canyon Campground located in the Crystal Cove State Park halfway to Corina del Mar. It's important to remember that beach camping is not available here. You must park and then carry in all your own supplies for camping, even the water you will need on your trip.
Historic Beach Cottages in Crystal Cove
For those of you who want a few more things than camping has to offer at the Crystal Cove State Park, you can rent out a beach cottage. They rent them on a day to day basis for those who want to just spend one night on the beach. There are 46 beach cottages nestled among each other in this picturesque place near Laguna Beach. These cottages were all restored after they were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 so you will find them quite comfortable to stay in.
